Mark Anthony Lord

My spiritual awakening began as so many do, "pain pushing until vision pulled."
At age 25, Spirit dropped me into the middle of a 12-step meeting that, although scary and confusing, began a tearing down of my denial. Insatiable reading, therapy, weekend workshops and many 12-step meetings later , I began cultivating my personal relationship with God. The vision began to pull.
I remember the exact day I answered the call to become a minister. I inquired about a divinity program that started in 2 weeks and which had no openings. An hour later, an opening "magically" appeared. The money and time I needed appeared as well, and I began my journey.
Just when I thought the path was certain, life sent me on yet another detour of deepening my faith and opening myself to surrender. Then, a sudden move to Los Angeles placed me in a brilliant, mystical and inspired community, Agape International Spiritual Center.Under the teachings and consciousness of Michael Bernard Beckwith, I dove more deeply into Spirit than I ever thought I could. The call to ministry was answered, and although my journey of becoming did not follow the path I initially imagined, it was so much better than I could have ever orchestrated myself."
