Uth & Family Ministry
The Mission of our Uth and Family Ministry is to guide and support our youth in developing a greater spiritual awareness of themselves and the world.
The Purpose of our Uth and Family Ministry is to:
- Nurture in our children an awareness of the presence of God within them, around them, and within others.
- Teach spiritual practices such as positive prayer, affirmations, meditation, and service.
- Teach spiritual Truths and how to apply them in their lives.
- Celebrate the joy of living.
We provide weekly spiritual lessons for children ages pre-K through early teens during our Sunday Celebration Service. We separate lessons by the following grade levels:
- Pre-K
- K-3rd grade
- 4th grade - 6th grade
Children are welcome to the youth room as early as 9:45am for facilitated free time with the lessons beginning at 10:40am. Lessons include music, story telling, discussion, crafts, and other activities.
We also provide structured childcare for infants and toddlers every Sunday from 9:45am until the end of Service.
Our Uth and Family Ministry Director is Rainbow Weldon, RScP, a licensed Practitioner at CSL. Our infant and pre-K program is lead by Heather Marsh-Prelesnik. We also have inspiring and trained volunteer teachers and assistants as well as Practitioner Student Interns who are steeped in the CSL principles of unconditional love and the inherent perfection of all children.
