Here I am in this amazing spiritual community which calls itself the "Chicago Center for Spiritual Living".  I'm calling it home these days.   I have said YES to life, and it is a truly joyful adventure where I get to experience and express the love of God in every area of my life.   My wake up call happened during 1995 when I found myself very successful on the outside and deeply disenchanted on the inside.  At the top of my game living in Los Angeles enjoying my career in technology leadership with plenty of money, respect, power and  "stuff".  I was also in a dysfunctional marriage, overweight, smoking 2 packs of cigarettes a day with all of the aches and pains that came with it.  It was then that I began to seek for something new, including God and spiritual community and found myself at the Agape International Spiritual Center listening to Dr. Michael Beckwith speak about the nature of Spirit and universal spiritual principles.  That was really all it took for me.  I lost the weight, quit smoking, released the husband, became a yoga instructor, and changed careers.  Twelve years later, as an ordained Science of Mind minister, I live a life where I know that God is real.  I know that the only job description we have in this life is to be loving, compassionate, forgiving and joyful.   It is my pleasure to be here in sacred service to this dynamic, fun and deeply loving spiritual center called CSL.    Do come join us.
